TRISTAN KNIGHT

Is an American Hip Hop recording artist, producer, & songwriter born and raised in the historic city of Detroit, Michigan. KNIGHT had always been a lover & student of music at a very young age thanks to his mother’s influence, but his intrigue for writing lyrics and rapping began at the age of 13. He states that he witnessed a fellow classmate and friend quietly ditching his writing assignments every day for penning verses instead. KNIGHT later began his affinity of self-production at the age of 20 after wanting to create his own sound, instead of relying on other producers to figure it out for him. Previously going by the moniker B. Acapella then shortening it to just Acapella, he found traction in the buzzing Detroit music scene with his collective of friends & producers, The Not F*cking Around Crew a.k.a TNFAC from the years of 2010-2015. Within that time period he released 4 independent albums titled The R3eValuation, Ov3rslept, The R3Invention, and Time & Money. Amongst those albums, he released the timeless singles “Pain” produced by Motizzy, the self-produced “High Times”, and his biggest single to date, the self-produced Kavinsky sampled “U’ve Changed”. In 2022 he released a series of singles & a full length album titled Dark Days, Bright Knight. KNIGHT resides in Los Angeles, CA and his latest album LAUDER Deluxe is currently being released independently through his Geniusly Evolved Music imprint.
